Windmills, crusader castles vs. lonely bays and fishing villages - experience contrasts up close.
The Northern Dodecanese is an archipelago in the southern Aegean with a deep, impressive and varied character. For example, the island of Kalymnos is very popular with sponge divers. Patmos, on the other hand, is known for pilgrimages and offers beautiful, historical hiking routes. In Lipsi, however, you can still meet local fishermen today. Leros offers unforgettable, picturesque bays, windmills and St. John's castles. Not to forget the diverse island of Kos - it offers culture, history and entertainment and leaves nothing to be desired.
The islands are a mix between the magical and mythical world with rich history and culture. A world in which the sun paints its pictures and the sea gives life.
The following is the (non-binding) schedule - depending on the weather and our wishes, many things can be adjusted. We'll talk about possible excursions, hikes, etc. on site!

4. Day: Tuesday: Lipsi-Patmos
Morning: Yoga by the sea or on board.
After breakfast drive to Patmos. In the main harbor of skala with the magnificent monastery of St. John and the towering medieval fortress, we go ashore on a historical exploration tour - a must for history lovers.
Historical background:
Patmos became known as an exile island under Roman rule. The priest St. John was banished here at the time. He stayed for two years and wrote The Enlightenment and Apocalypse "under the influence of visions". Patmos later developed into a pilgrimage site and in 1088 the monastery of St. John in Chora (approx. 2 km from skala) was founded, which still exists to this day.
We devote our time primarily to the various aspects of St. John's Monastery. It includes the fortresses, the Founder's Chapel (19th century) with impressive icons, the Chapel of Theotokos with 12th century frescoes, the refectory, the treasury and the most important "monastic collection" in Greece outside of Athos.
Optional:
5. Day Wednesday: Patmos-Leros fishing village - bay south side Kokali and Gourna bays.
Morning: Yoga on deck.
After breakfast, drive to the southern bay of Leros. The bay has a small, tranquil fishing port. There are two chapels on both sides of the bay.
Evening: Yoga on land in one chapel at sunset. Dinner and Overnight stay in the bay.
6. Day Thursday: Leros-Kalimnos
Morning: Yoga on land in the other chapel.
After breakfast we will sail to the enchanting island of Kalymnos. Kalymnos´ What is particularly attractive is its fantastic bays and spectacular rocky outcrops that invite you to relax in peace and solitude. We anchor at the hidden rocks of Vahti harbor on the east side of the island. In addition to the early and newer Orthodox basilicas near Vahti, there is also the possibility of an exciting climbing tour to a medieval Crusader castle 15 km away in the town of Chorio.
Evening: Yoga in a bay on board. Dinner and overnight stay in the bay.
7. Day Friday: Kalimnos-Bodrum
